Here’s a killer track from Ty Segall’s old band Epsilons.

As further proof that most genre labels are bullshit, you’ll find this album—Killed ‘Em Deader ‘n a Six Card Poker Hand—in the Garage Rock bin at your local record store, but I defy you to listen to it without thinking of Synth Punk bands like Lost Sounds and The Screamers.   Which is why I try not to take those labels seriously.  What’s important is, I’ve listened to this record a dozen times now and it just keeps growing on me.
