"Hotel Bloedel" by The Fall

Brix was originally going to become a solo artist, with Mark E. Smith producing her first album.  Instead she became his wife and the lead guitarist for The Fall.  Here’s a song from the first album they did together.  Listen; that’s her singing.  She really brought something to this band, perhaps more than just her voice and her guitar.  Mark E. Smith (the only constant feature of The Fall) has been recording at a madly prolific rate for over thirty years now, but some of his best albums were with Brix.
