“Cockroach Heart” by Weird Party
Here’s a platter that matters. Remember a few months back when I was all brokenhearted because my favorite new band Weird Party broke up? Well, they got back together, and they’ve released their first LP, Hussy, which fulfills all the promise of their debut “Honey Slides” 7-inch—and then some. I’m too busy listening to this record over and fucking over again to properly describe their sound. Jesus fucking Christ, you’ve got to listen to this band.
