“Horse Pills” by The Dandy Warhols

Dig through any thirtysomething hipster’s closet and you’ll find a battered and neglected copy of this album,Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia.  Used to be, The Dandy Warhols were supposed to be The Next Big Thing and their friends, Brian Jonestown Massacre, were an obscure also-ran.  But BJM’s reputation has grown over the years, while the Dandy Warhols now seem kinda dated.  Still, this record is worth checking out, especially if you want to hear one of my all-time favorite drug anthems.

This one’s dedicated to Command Private Major Hutton, Patron Saint of Bad Ideas.  I miss you, dude, even though I should know better.
