“Born to Lose” by Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers
Given the untimely (but not altogether unexpected) deaths of Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan, this track by The Heartbreakers should sound like an unheeded warning—and yet it doesn’t. This song is too much fun for that. Listening to “Born to Lose,” I can’t imagine Thunders and Nolan any way other than alive and in their prime, having a blast.
