I’ve heard about this album, but I never got around to checking it out.  Apparently Marvin Gaye got divorced and, since he couldn’t be depended upon to pay alimony (he had this tendency to spend all his money on drugs), his wife demanded the royalties from his next album.  So he recorded Here, My Dear as a thinly veiled “fuck you” to his ex.  Thank you, awordoraline, for posting this:

Marvin Gaye - Is That Enough

Marvin is the only one who could write a song/album about breaking up/divorce that would make you want to get freaky when you listen to it.

I was a dumb little fool
I was a dumb little fool
but I’ll never get enough get enough
Enough of that funky stuff
I’m gonna jump back in
Up to my neck again
