Who Were Your Role Models?
It’s an honest question.  When I was growing up, most of my heroes were writers: William goddamn Burroughs, Hunter fucking Thompson, and Ernest “The Very Definition Of Manhood” Hemingway—not just because they were great writers, but also because they struck me as genuinely awesome human beings.  As I got older and more heavily into music, I idolized guys like Henry Rollins, Ian MacKaye, and Johnny Cash.  So I’m curious: Who were your heroes?
